No. We charge only for the time we spend on site.
£45.00 plus VAT for the first half hour, then £25.00 plus VAT per half hour thereafter.
Should you require Mr Fix-It Man for the day (to be specified prior to arriving on site) our daily charge will be £230.00 + VAT.
No .Most customers use us purely as a labour service. They normally supply their own materials. Materials supplied by us will be charged at cost plus 25%. We add a small mark-up on parts to reflect the fact that we use our expertise to source the right materials.
No! if the materials for the job are part of the stock we usually carry on the van there is no additional charge.
Yes! Once we have arrived on site, if the customer requires us to provide specific materials which we may not have as stock on our van then we will charge for the time spent sourcing these items. The cost involved here will be £25.00 + VAT per half hour in addition to our initial charge of £45.00 + VAT per half hour
No. Any parking fees incurred are in addition to the labour charge.

Yes! All our operatives carry a full range of tools to tackle most jobs. They also carry a wide selection of general small parts (screws - nail - cable - bulbs - immersions - general plumbing connections and so forth).
Yes. All our labour work is guaranteed for twelve months.
Yes, we carry £2m of public liability insurance.
We take on both small and large jobs. From fitting a lock to a new bathroom - kitchen - refurbishement - loft conversion - extension and much more.
For small jobs we can usually give you a price over the phone of how long a job is likely to take. You can then book someone in, when they arrive they will confirm or revise the estimate based on what they find at the job. If it is clearly going to take longer than expected, and you decide not to go ahead, we will not charge you. If you are happy to go ahead then our Mr Fix-it Man will do the job there and then.

We are not an emergency/call-out service. Most of the work we carry out is booked in a couple of days in advance. If we can do your job on the same day of your inquiry, we will of course advice you of this.
No. Our usual working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. We can do jobs in the evening or Saturday for a 50% premium.
For all plumbing work where gas work is involved the engineers we use are CORGI registered.
All our Mr Fix-It Men are professional tradesmen who have been working in the building industry for many years and are employed by us direct. We ensure that they maintain our standards at all times: we expect them to be punctual - polite and well presented; they have to be friendly and understand the importance of customer service.
We handle most jobs. There may be however jobs that we cannot do, in which case we will tell you and try to recommend a suitable specialist for the task.
No! We aim to be on site when we say we will. We usually are. Sometimes however we may be delayed, if this is the case we will call you in advance.

If you require a regular visit we can set up an account, and would be in a position to offer you a discount to our usual rates. Give us a call to discuss your specific requirement. We will require account customers to settle their invoices within 14 days.
